Your questions – Our answers

Here you will find answers to your questions about SIUNIS

Alexander Kirchner
How is your data recorded?

Siunis includes both guided manual and digital data collection. Today’s industrial plants still cannot be recorded completely automatically.

The documentation obligation prescribes maintenance rounds, inspections and manual tests.

In this context, a great deal of measured data cannot be recorded by electronic sensors. They are determined by chemical analysis and on-site tests, for example. SIUNIS supports on-site data acquisition with a plausibility and limit value check. Exceedances are reported individually, summarized and sent if required.

Data collection is structured and divided into tasks, intervals and responsibilities. Maintenance rounds and measured value recordings are generated, carried out and digitized individually. The data is therefore available digitally and can be analyzed.

Data collection is supported by the SIUNIS web app for the handheld device or as part of comprehensive analytics on the desktop.

What does the app do with the data?

The data is stored unequivocally and audit-proof in a database. All data is encrypted and protected against unauthorized access in multiple ways. The hosting of the data and access to it complies with the current European Data Protection Directive. The storage complies with the requirements of the respective regulatory bodies for the operation of plant documentation in an industrial context.

Does the app comply with the regular documentation requirements of the 42nd BImSchV for evaporative cooling systems?

Yes! The app offers a system structure that is precisely tailored to the 42nd BImSchV. This includes the required documentation tasks at the required intervals. The documentation duties are divided into easy-to-process packages. The documentation requirements of the 42nd BImSchV can thus be processed easily and comprehensively. The software has been checked by two independent experts in accordance with the 42nd BImSchV. The app also offers central documentation for preparing the necessary expert inspections at the touch of a button. The inspection appointments are therefore prepared with maximum efficiency.

Can the app replace a boiler logbook for steam boiler systems?

The web app fully replaces a conventionally kept boiler logbook in accordance with the DIN EN12953-10 and TRDI604 standards for large-capacity water boilers. In addition, the app enables cross-time evaluation and safeguarding of operating states in graphical or statistical form. Recurring limit value violations or other trends relevant to safe operation are detected. Appropriate steps can be taken promptly. In addition, potentials can be identified and efficiency-enhancing measures can be taken. The system is secured and optimized. Safe, uninterrupted and maximum efficient operation is supported.

What exactly are the potential savings?

In addition to comprehensive limit value monitoring with various reporting and escalation levels, the app can be used to define ideal system conditions for maximum efficient operation. Based on this characteristic curve, forecasts for savings over defined periods can then be made and stored. During operation, the app compares the recorded data with the forecasts and calculates and documents the savings actually achieved. The savings can be expressed in terms of energy, money or CO2, for example.

Can the app be operated by my employees?

Access to the web app is controlled via a user administration system. An authorized employee can access the app at any time via their web browser. The app is optimized for smartphone, tablet and desktop use. The user administration maps various hierarchies and authorizations for systems and customers with regard to the recording, maintenance and evaluation of data.

Can we use the app for our system?

Yes, the app has a modular structure and can be individually adapted to all conceivable systems and measured values. The structure enables complex systems with multiple levels. The structure can be created completely individually or with the help of templates. Calculations and evaluations are carried out using easily adaptable modules and are cross-system and cross-level. Limit values and operating modes with the corresponding escalation levels and message chains can be individually adapted for each measuring point.
